Our second activity was a ride on the tram. We waited safely on the platform for the tram to arrive.
This tram came from Wellington. The conductor shared some information about MOTAT's trams and answered some of our questions.
We liked how the tram can be driven from both ends of the tram car.
When we got to the end of the line, the conductor took some of his tools to the cabin at the other end and drove the tram from there. We spotted that he was using a lever.
