In our Literacy learning we try to find a common theme or topic for our big book, poem, writing and fine motor jobs. This helps us to make connections across different areas of our learning.
This week our topic has been Rainbows to tie into St Patrick's Day.
We read a big book called In the Rain with a rainbow.
Our poem was called Rainbow and we talked about the colours we see and which order they go in.
We also strengthened our fingers by ripping tissue paper to make a rainbow.
